Impulse Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 23, 2026
Impulse helps users pause before eating and scrolling impulses. The app is designed to work locally on your device, with optional private iCloud continuity when iCloud is available for your Apple ID.
Data Stored Locally
Impulse stores impulse tags, intervention starts, and result logs using UserDefaults and local JSON files on your device. The app also creates a local backup file and may sync a private backup through Apple's iCloud key-value storage when iCloud is available. This information is not sent to a backend operated by the app.
Data Continuity
If iCloud is off, your data remains on this iPhone. If iCloud is later turned on, Impulse is designed to sync the records already on this phone to your Apple ID. The app also offers manual export and import of a JSON backup for device changes or extra safekeeping.
No Tracking
Impulse does not use third-party tracking, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Subscriptions
For English and international users, subscription purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple manages billing, trials, renewals, cancellation, and refunds.

不追踪
停一下不使用第三方追踪、广告标识符或第三方分析 SDK。
中文版本策略
设备语言为简体中文的用户，在 MVP 早期不显示付费订阅门槛。
